The Cape Fear River Chapter brings together nine Lutheran congregations in Brunswick, Columbus, and New Hanover County. Whether together or individually, the congregations work to improve lives in their communities.

THRIVENT BUILDS
Cape Fear River Chapter is paricipating with Habitat for Humanity in New Hanover County to build a house in the Thrivent Builds program. Each church in the chapter has raised a proportional amount for the chapter to provide 10% of the cost of the home which in this case is $11,340. All congregations are helping to build this new home. July 12, 2008 was ground breaking.
