Our Easter Service was phenomenal this year. . . a cross covered with fresh flowers . . . two new banners made like stained glass windows . . . our very own Chime Choir accompanying our service . . . and a beautiful wall cross as an Easter gift to all who attended.
Pastor and Sue will be attending the constituting convention of the newly formed Atlantic Coast Region of the A.A.L.C. in Napoleon, Ohio on April 17 and 18. New officers will be elected as well as a new constitution formed..
Our newly formed boy scout troop will be busy this month with a Court of Honor to be held on the 14th and a Pancake Breakfast to raise money for outdoor activities on the 28th.
Our ladies will host a benefit concert on Sunday, April 22nd to raise money for Hospice and Judy Gibson will hold her final recital on Sunday, April 29th.
Our Quarterly Voter’s Meeting will be held after worship on Sunday, April 29th. Election of officers will be held with Kay Kleschka running for Treasurer and Carl Holt running for Member at Large.
It definitely looks like a busy and rewarding month. And to top it all off we will have our Florida members slowly working their way Northward to be with us during the beautiful Summer months. Thank you Lord for all of Your blessings.
