Special Gifts Logo

The Dorcas Circle meets the second Wednesday of each month from September to May at the home of a member for Bible Study and business. Usually, they have an informal "bring your own sandwich" lunch.

Special projects for the Dorcas Circle include health kits for Lutheran World Relief.

Ruth Circle Members

The Ruth Circle meets the first Thursday of each month from September to May at the home of a member for Bible Study and business. Special projects for the Ruth Circle are health kits for Haven House, a women's shelter, and school kits for Lutheran World Relief.

A health kit for Haven House consists of a cup filled with small personal hygiene items. The school kits include school supplies for children in developing countries. In recent years, Lutheran World Relief has shipped school kits to Afganistan, China, Eritrea, Latvia, Sao Toma and Principe, and Sierra Leone.

Priscilla Circle Members

The Priscilla Circle meets the second Monday of each month from September to May at the home of a member for Bible Study and business.

Special projects for the Priscilla Circle include crocheting "preemie caps" for Leesburg Regional Medical Center, making the blue ribbons for Rachel's Day, donating paper products for Mother's Love Daycare, and collecting items to assist the other circles with their Lutheran World Relief kits.

Mary-Martha Circle Members

The Mary-Martha Circle meets the second Tuesday of each month from September to May in the Fellowship Hall. Members work on projects and conclude with a Bible Study and business meeting. Usually, they have an informal "bring your own sandwich" lunch.

Special projects for the Mary-Martha Circle are collecting canceled stamps for Habitat for Humanity and assisting the Lutheran World Relief Quilters with making quilts for Lutheran World Relief.

Habitat for Humanity packages and sells the stamps to collectors. Two Habitat homes in Lake County have been sponsored by funds raised through the Stamp Program!
