You're Invited to the Parsonage - We, Pastor Kathy and Stu, invite you to join us for a casual time of conversation and fellowship. Being new to the community we are interested in getting to know you a little better. During our time together you will be able to get acquainted with us.
This isn't a class, so no homework is required! Just please come and enjoy some time with us in the parsonage.
You will find sign up sheets on Pastor Kathy's office door. So take time today to reserve your spot on the sign up sheetsGreeting from Sara & Tim Ramaker
Greetings to the Good Shepherd congregation from Georgia!!
Well, the dogs and I made it! It was a long and tiring drive (about 1360 miles) but my two companions rode well and we made the drive in two days.
Tim and I have purchased a 5 acre parcel of land and will soon start building a home. The land is covered in pine trees and so we have cleared an area for the house and a small horse pasture. The two horses I had shipped here are currently staying with a neighbor till we have our facilities ready.
We are living in a camper until the house is done – it is big enough for the two of us and the air conditioning works – a must down here! I finally ventured out today to start finding my way around; found Tim's office and went to the bank and post office. Tomorrow shall be the grocery store and Laundromat!
I will be back in Minnesota the first two weeks of August so will hopefully run into some of you to say hello again. Thank you to everyone for the cards and well wishes – your prayers got me safely here and I am very grateful to all of you. It has been a joy and privilege to work at Good Shepherd; you shall always remain in my prayers and I know many good things will be happening at and around the church.
Our new address is: 275 Proman Lane Fleming, GA 31309 For now my phone number is my cell phone: Sara – 507-525-2433 And my new email is sararamaker@live.com
Blessings to all of you! Sara and Tim
We CAN because You CAN! - Thank you to everyone who has dropped of aluminum cans to support our youth. If possible, we would appreciate it if you could crush your cans and secure them in a bag before you toss them in the can corral back by the church shed. A special thank you to Kent Stern, Jon Melby and Bill Groskreutz, Jr. for all their help in corralling and delivering the cans. If you are able to help, please call Pastor Meg or the church office. Thanks for your CANtasic!!
