Christian belief is not an individual evaluation of God's teaching, but a gift the Holy Spirit gives individuals by which we believe what God teaches us in the Bible. This may seem to restrict our freedom, but in reality it frees us from relying on ourselves and enables us to rely fully on God for our salvation. And what great comfort and peace that brings.

2. Knowing God's love is for you: "...but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23) "God so loved the world
(including you) that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him would not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16) and 'While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)

3. Trusting that you do not have to earn God's love: "It is by grace you have been saved through faith, and it is not your own doing, it is a gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8)

4. Living the life of someone who knows they are a sinner whom God has saved by His grace through His gift of faith in the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ on His cross.
