My Web Site Profile

E-mail preferences:

Allows you to manage if you receive e-mail and in what format.

  • You may choose to receive e-mails and note the format you prefer—either text or HTML.
  • These e-mail updates include:
    • When a user is added as participant.
    • When a user is removed from the participant list.
    • When a user is accepted/denied participation.
    • When an administrator sends an e-mail to all participants.
  • This cannot be switched on/off for each individual Web site.

Privacy preferences:

Opt in or out to having your name and e-mail included on Web sites within Lutherans Online. If you opt in, your name and e-mail will be included in the search to grant participation rights, which is used by Web site administrators. Your name and e-mail will also appear on participant postings on individual Web sites in which you participate. If you opt out, your name and e-mail will not be included in any participant search, nor displayed within participant postings. Click on "Click to add name" or "Click to remove name."

My site preferences:

  • When you click "My Site" in the left-navigation, you may choose to have the initial page display all of the Web sites that you administrate or participate in, or you may choose to have the initial page go right to your default site.

My Web sites-Administrator:

You can set site update e-mails to be switched on/off and also change the frequency (daily/weekly/monthly) for each Web site individually.

  • This area shows all of the Web sites that you are administrator of.
  • Click on the link to go directly to that Web site.
  • Choose the content that you would like included in your e-mail updates of changed or new content. You can choose new and modified content and/or new and updated calendar events.
  • Choose daily, weekly, monthly or never for your preference of frequency.
  • If you have more than one Web site, you may click on “Make my Starting Web site” to show this Web site first when you click "My Site" in the left-navigation.

My Web sites-Participant:

You can set site update e-mails to be switched on/off and also change the frequency (daily/weekly/monthly) for each Web site individually.

  • This area shows all of the Web sites that you are a participant of.
  • You may cancel participation by clicking on the “Cancel Participation” link.
  • Click on the link to go directly to that Web site.
  • Choose the content that you would like included in your e-mail updates of changed or new content. You can choose new and modified content and/or new and updated calendar events.
  • Choose daily, weekly, monthly or never for your preference of frequency.
  • If you have more than one Web site, you may click on “Make my Starting Web site” to show this Web site first when you click "My Site" in the left-navigation.

My Web sites-Pending:

This area shows all Web sites in which your participation is pending.

  • Click on the link to go directly to that Web site.
  • Click on “Cancel Request” to cancel your request for participation in this Web site.

Tips:

  • Click “Done” to save your changes and go back to the previous screen.
  • Click “Save” to save your changes and stay on the current page.
  • Click “Cancel” to go back to the previous screen without saving your changes.
