Church Treasurer's Report

It is important when purchases are made for the church that the original sales slip be submitted to the treasurer. The treasurer needs to know what the purchase was and what it was intended for so that the proper fund is noted. Thanks for helping with this!

Church Council News:

The Council is seeking members to fill the remainder of two terms which end in January. If interested, call the office 772-3144

Power Lab Soccer Balls

The soccer balls have arrived and are ready to be signed and decorated. If you ordered a soccer ball(s) please pick it up after church in the Fellowship Hall or HCH.  We will have some permanent markers available for you to use if you chose to decorate here, otherwise take it home. They can be returned to the office. After they have been signed and decorated they'll be sent to Africa for distribution. We are hoping to do this by the end of August.

Too much excitement in church?

A father took his 5-year-old son to several baseball games where The Star-Spangled Banner was sung before the start of each game. Then the father and son attended a church on a Sunday shortly before Independence Day. The congregation sang The Star-Spangled Banner, and after everyone sat down, the little boy suddenly yelled out, "PLAY BALL!!!"
