Broadcast of Worship Service

We will be broadcasting the worship service from our own FM station 88.1. At this time there isn't anything else broadcast on this station, so if you are tuning in and hear static, please wait until the service time. We hope to broadcast both the 8:15 and the 11:00 service. We are having trouble sometimes with a bad hum in the sanctuary. If this happens, we have to shut the broadcast off. Please be patient with us as we try and get the service to you. We will not be on GCI at this time.

Haunted Holy House

A Very Big Thank You

What a treat it was to go through the Haunted Holy House on Thursday night. You were met at the door and ushered down the stairs to the "Hanging Masks" (Did you see the kid's behind the masks?) Then on to the " Maze". (It was so dark in there. Even if you knew there were walls to follow, you were frightened when you touched the creatures instead of a wall.) Next came the "Mortuary". (The mortician invited you in to a viewing. When he touched the corpse, it jumped out at you. More screams!) If you made it over the raised floor in the hall you entered the "Witch's Room". (You were invited to sit at the table with the witches and taste what was under the covered platter. More screams when you saw the head on the platter!) Down the hall a little further was the "Enchanted Forest". (You entered the forest and were frightened by the creatures in the forest.) Next came the "Electric Shock". (You will have to ask someone how they did this, but more screams came from those walking by.) Also in the hall were the "Wolf Man " and the "Mummy". (They had little tricks to frighten you as you walked by.) You were ushered out through the "Museum". (You had to pass by the hanging skeletons to get out) Many thanks to the High School kids, the 4-6th grade kids, the parents, and other members of the congregation for all they did to make this a wonderful Haunted Holy House for the community of Petersburg!!!!!
