Prayers of thanks to you, the Church

Mary Ann and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful gathering last Sunday.  You are very gracious people, whom we love.  The food was wonderful, but the words said by many of you were even better.  Thank you to those of you who sent email messages also.  The picture will hang in our house, I think in the kitchen, as a daily reminder of all you wonderful people of Petersburg Lutheran Church.

Thank You.

Pastor Al and Mary Ann

     News from Tanzania

Dear Friends,

Many greetings from Monduli in Arusha region-Northeastern Tanzania.  Rogathe and I feel highly honored to read your Electronic mails and most exciting was a list and dates of our host families that are going to host us during our visitation to Petersburg.

Today I tried to list your names and addresses on one letter.  I learned this system from my friend Al, and the message contained there in usually would suit each individual listed.  That is a unique gift of talents that God has accorded to this brilliant philosopher.

We are very much excited for the trip and pray that God  makes it possible and a success as scheduled.  Thanks to Bill Moulton and Pastor Al to have planned that we also get your weekly Petersburg Pilot.  Your article "Swahilis set sights on Southeatern Alaska" appeared to be very interesting to us.  There is something more than that to admire.  Mary and Pastor David Nelson from WA made a visit to Monduli to deliver to us a good message of hope in form of an object  (digital camera).  Thanks for all this.  Thanks to Mary Ann and Pastor Al for their electronic mails.  Most interesting was about a beautiful photo attachment of baptism to Ying, Mae, and Carolyn.  All this is God's blessings.

Good peace and good health to you friends and your beloved families be blessed by the Lord.  we are looking forward to meeting you very soon.   Eden & Rogathe
