Power Lab Soccer Balls are in the basement
The soccer
balls have arrived and are ready to be signed and decorated. If you ordered a
soccer ball(s) please pick it up after church in the Fellowship Hall. We will have some permanent markers available
for you to use if you chose to decorate here, otherwise take it home. They can
be returned to the office. After they have been signed and decorated they'll be
sent to
Yikes…it's still lost. You know how he gets around…it could be anywhere!
Keep your eyes open for Pastor Al's favorite wool Filson baseball
cap. It is dark green with a small logo
(the word Filson) on the side.
Baby Update:
Grandpa Al's ninth
grandchild has postponed her entry into our world for 1 more week. She needs a
bit more growing
Ken & Linda Caulum
with Sandy &
Annie & Kent Chalmers had a baby girl, Brooke
Anne Norgaard Chalmers, on August 9th. She was 5# 13 oz. and 18 3/4 inches
long. She was named after Great-great grandma
Ann McDonald, Grandma Carol McCabe and Annie; Norgaard is from her Grandma
Britta's family. All are doing well.
Bits and Pieces:
Thank you Dave Riemer for doing all the mowing and weed whacking during the little spurt of nice weather we had. That was a big job ~ it looks great. (Sally helped too!)
Annette Olsen was working on weeding the flower beds again. The deer keep the trimming down…
Our Daily Bread for Sept - Nov is on the table by the elevator. Christ in Our Home should be coming as well.
If you haven't received any of the church emailing and you would like to, please let the office know. It's another tool to keep the congregation in touch.
Remember, you
can find Pastor Al's sermons posted every Monday on the web under Al's Page.
This announcement page is posted under Weekly E-News. While visiting the site,
check out the new photos ~ thanks to Carolyn Hurtt for taking pictures at the
church picnic and sharing them!
We are still looking for help in setting up our own web site.
