Who are eligible recipients for the Care Abounds in Communities® program?

Eligible recipients for the Care Abounds in Communities® program are individuals, families, local communities or organizations that are exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, excluding congregations. (This includes charitable, educational and religious organizations, excluding congregations.) Although congregations are not eligible recipients for the Care Abounds in Communities® program, remember that service teams still can use the program to help an eligible recipient.
