It's been years since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and thousands of families still live in dangerous temporary housing. You can help change that situation by leading a Thrivent Builds Worldwide Gulf Coast Community trip. As a Thrivent Builds Worldwide Gulf Coast Community team leader, you’ll lead a one-week volunteer work trip to the Mississippi Gulf Coast where you’ll: Build homes side-by-side with other Lutherans to help partner families in need of simple, decent, affordable housing. Help rebuild an entire community. Experience tours of the area to help you understand the impact of the hurricanes and go out for a "taste of the south" dinner. TAKE THE LEAD!
