Thrivent Builds Worldwide Post-Trip Presentation

[NAME(S)/NUMBER OF PEOPLE] from [CONGREGATION] went to [LOCATION] from [DATE] to [DATE] to help the [NAME] family build a simple, decent, affordable home. The trip was sponsored by Thrivent Builds Worldwide, and is part of Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity, a multi-year, multi-million dollar program designed to help provide a “hand up” to people who lack decent shelter. Together, [NAME(S)/NUMBER OF PEOPLE FROM OUR CONGREGATION] pounded nails, shared fun and fellowship and helped build a home with the [NAME] family during a [NUMBER]-day trip to [LOCATION]. Soon, the [NAME] family will be handed the keys to their new home. Like all Habitat homeowners, they will buy their home with sweat equity and a low-cost loan. Their mortgage payments are part of the “fund of Humanity,” which will be used to help build more Habitat homes.
