Christopher Olsen Aamodt of Modum, Norway and his future wife,Ingeborg Sorine Jensdatter of Drammen, emigrated in 1843 and settled inSE WI, where they attended the Pine Lake Church. They later moved toGilman Twsp., Pierce Co., WI., where they are buried at the GilmanLutheran Church Cemetery. Their children include my greatgrandmother,Ella Olina Aamodt, who married Peter Peterson.
