| | | Additional Family Information | | would like to see if I could find some information on my grandparents. My grandmother was born as far as we know in Iowa. her name was Martha Elizabeth Strohley(not sure of the spelling). She met my grandfather John W. Hale,we think in Houston,Tx. I think she was his 2nd wife they divorced in 1927. She and her 3 children moved to San Antonio,Tx. There they became members of St Paul Lutheran. My father was confirmed in 1935. He, his younger brother and older sister attended school at St Pauls. My grandmothers family came from Norway and Sweden, as she spoke both Norwegian and Swedish fluently according to my father and his siblings. My grandfathers family was from England,Scotland Wales and Ireland. Iwould appriciate any help. thank you |
