Five hundred years ago, one small-town priest tore apart an empire and shaped the course of Western civilization. His name was Martin Luther. "Luther" the movie, is an epic story of how one man's faith in God changed the world. It has played in theaters in nearly 1,000 U.S. cities since its release in September 2003. It currently is being released in theaters worldwide with great success. On November 30, 2004 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. released "Luther" on DVD and VHS in major retail and video stores and Lutheran publishing houses.
