DST

I love DST and wish it would just stay that way all year long instead of falling back in fall. Does anyone know if there's a logical reason for switching back and forth every fall and spring?

DST

In response to T R Beck. My life isn't ruled by the rising and setting of the sun. It is ruled by my work schedule and DST gives me an additional hour of sunlight after I get home from work.

Daylight savings time

I don't think anybody believes that the sun shines for an extra hour. But it's nice having that extra hour on the end of the day when I'm awake, rather than the beginning of the day when I'm asleep.

Daylight Savings time

The idea of changing the clocks to save an hour of daylight is illogical. Each day the sun shines the same amount of time each day. It does not matter what time our clocks say. Congress can not tell the sun to shine an extra hour, but only tell us to change our clocks back and forth more often.

This is a good thing. Getting this extra hour of sunlight will help melt all the snow.

I would like Daylight Saving Time all year long. It is so nice to have the extra daylight after work each day.

Maxine, you are so right. We did not answer the question that was asked. You've got to be a teacher.

So my answer is, yes, I am happy that it is starting early. More time to enjoy those beautiful spring evenings. And I know my husband likes it because it gives him more time on the golf course.

I cannot stand it, now or ever! I have medical problems and this "adjusting" twice a year sometimes is so difficult I end up out of work sick. Why not leave it one time and adjust your schedule to do things during daylight? Uff da.

Daylight Time 3 weeks early

The question asks whether the three week early daylight savings time change is liked or not.

Ask me next week...after the fact.

I like DST, I don't know if I will like it starting earlier in the season.

I agree with Shar. I like it when it stays light out longer.

I don't know why you don't like it, dear friend. I like it because I love having that extra hour of daylight to enjoy in the evening. I wish they would keep it all year because I hate when it gets dark at 5 o'clock.

day light savings

I do not like day lights saving time. I cannot tell you why, I just don't like it and I am asking the question WHY? Any one of you smart people has the answer?

Have a blessed evening
