I wish my sister had never shown me how to play Free Cell because I can't leave that game alone. I have to keep at it until I win it.

Actually, in the last couple of years of her life, we played games on line frequently. We were separated by many miles but before she got too sick, we would meet in a game room almost every night and chat and play Scrabble or Yatzee. It made the miles seem much closer. It was a sad day for both of us when she was no longer able to play on line.

I play scrabble online with many, many opponents, world-wide, all hours of the day/night. It is a joy to find people who love the game as much as I do. My hubby hates the game so this is my only outlet to play! Not only is it fun, but you meet the most interesting people. I meet great Christians and I can witness to those who are not.

Games on Computer Solitaire etc.

Until I retired in September of 2006, I used to play Computer Card games, during my lunch hour. It was a way to unwind for the pressure of the deadlines in the payroll department. It helped me to keep my sanity. Now that I am retired, I play at times, when I need to relax. I am currently dealing with a husband who is dealing with uncurable cancer. Playing helps me find some time to de-stress.

I use the computer for work. If I have time to play PC games something more important is not getting done.

My wife and I meet with friends at a local coffee shop every other Friday to play board games, but we occasionally play simulation games like Civilization on the PC. I'll play solitaire on the PC while my wife gets ready for bed if I'm on the computer anyway.

My mother likes the electronic copy of Scrabble she has - she doesn't have to worry about finding an opponent, although, technically, the computer cheats (it has to look up words in the dictionary!)

Simcity 4

Simcity can be such a relaxing game. It brings out my "creative juices."
