Why we fly the American Flag
We have had two sons in the military. One was in the Army in the 1980's
and the other was a Marine and served in Iraq in 2003. Ever since our
son was in Iraq, we have flown the American Flag and at one time the
Marine flag too 24/7 with a spotlight. It means a lot to us to show our
support for our country and troops!

No...and why I don't
I don't fly a flag because I'm terribly forgetful. Unless they are made
for it, you aren't supposed to fly one in bad weather, and unless it's
got lighting on it, you aren't supposed to fly it at night, either. I
would be constantly forgetting to bring it in when I needed to. Better
to salute the flag at the parade, where I can be sure I'll be
respectful!

Yup!
I've got a flag up, have had one up since 2001. Of course, I live in a
town that is apparently über patriotic. Many, many homes display an
American flag.

Decoration
If I decorated my house with anything more than functional things, I'd
likely put up Christmas lights (sometimes even a tree!), and maybe even
a flag. But, it just isn't in the cards right now.

Display of the flag
We have a lighted flag that we display on a flag pole in the front yard
24/7.
