TV in bedroom
I have had a TV in my bedroom for 30 years.
It helps put me to sleep. I have my TV on a
timer and it comes on at 10pm and turns off at
1130pm. Rarely am I awake when it turns off.

TV
Now if they still had shows like ALL in the Family and Mash or the Andy
grifith Show there would be a reason to watch TV.

TV in Bedroom
Typically, the TV in my bedroom is a sleep-aid. I turn it on to watch
either the 10 or 11 pm news, or Letterman, and promptly fall asleep.
I'll wake up about 2:30 and reach for the remote and somehow shut it
off.
I do not, however, have any recording equipment!

TV in bedroom
When we bought this house five years ago, one of the things I wanted was
a large bedroom. I have the nicest corner in my bedroom with a Lazy
Boy, side table and TV. I spend a lot of time there knitting, reading,
and occasionally watching TV. We do not watch TV in bed, although I
have to admit that in the old days of Johnny Carson, we rarely missed a
show. Somehow Leno and Letterman don't stack up.

TV in Bedroom
I can't watch TV while lying down--partly because I'm nearsighted and
don't wear my glasses to bed, not to mention the fact that the way my
blended lenses are, I'd have to hold my head in an awkward position.
Falling asleep with the tv or radio on causes me to wake frequently and
not sleep soundly, because my brain won't turn off and tries to follow
the dialogue.
