| "Other"
I checked "other." In my case, my favorite autumn activity is crunching
through all the leaves that have fallen all over the sidewalks.
Unfortunately, it's been just a bit too damp so far for that, but then
the season's just getting wound up...
And by the way, I think the leaf blower is one of mankind's worst
inventions! It's noisy and lacking in finesse. Give me a nice metal
rake any day.

| Favorite Fall Activity
Canning/preserving was always my favorite activity. It always felt good
to see the jars lined up on the shelves with the bounty of the summer
captured there. I related to the squirrels storing their acorns. My
husband always said I was a little "nutty."

| Fall Faves
Fall brings summer's outdoor cooking inside. So, I eagerly await the
first sign of the fresh cranberries from the Oregon coast's bogs. My
cranberry "sauce" beats anything Ocean Spray or Aunt Minnie ever made.
People rave over the recipe.
Same thing goes for my stuffing recipe. Its the time of year to add
flavor to things.
Chili, stews, soups... all get made more often. And, once they're
made, I can take it easy for a few days, knowing that there's plenty to
eat without having to cook!
