Nativity

I have a beautiful nativity that I set out every year in a prominant area.I live alone. My only son is serving in Korea. If he were coming home, I would consider buying a Christmas tree. Three years ago when he came home for Christmas I surprised him with a large decorated pine that grows in my front yard. I did not even have a tree in the house. I love the humble, peaceful nativity so much that I really do not miss not having a tree. I can do that later if I ever get to enjoy having grandkids. I work long hours. The nativity is just perfect to come home to.

Nativities

My house is actually quite small...but so are most of the nativities. Many of them go on the tree itself...then there are small ones on the windown sills, bookcases, mantel, etc. and some larger ones where space allows. It's the only time of year I have knick-knack like things around.

Nativity scene

70 inside? How big is your house?

I have one inside, I made about 70 years aho, used to have a big one in front of my tree, but since I am not putting a big tree one up any more, it is in the box. Too good to put outside, it might disappear.

However , I have 3 Angles singing outside, next to a Christmas tree and the porch has Pointsetters on. House door is surounded by light bells, I have that on since we live here, 35 years. Every one in the neighbor hood waits for me to put them up. If they light at night, they know Christmas is around the corner. They always wait for them to ring, biut they are just red, light bells, no sound. :( :)

Well, that is more information as you ask for.

Have a blessed Advent Season.

Nativities

Is displaying one outside and 70 inside the house (including 7 in the bathroom) overkill?
