Do you use an alarm clock?

One nice thing about being retired is not having to set the alarm. Although I am usually up by about 7:30, I wish I had kept in the habit of setting the alarm for earlier as Florida mornings are beautiful and I miss having that nice quiet time to myself. I do set the alarm for 6:45 on Sundays and days when I want to go to the Y.

Alarm Clock

I never use an alarm clock. I do wake up at night to see what time it is and if I need to get out of bed. I should use an alarm clock I guess and maybe I would sleep better. It is amazing how fast the last two hours of sleep goes by.

Waking Up Is Hard To Do...

I use an alarm clock only when I -have- to be up by a certain time. That's six days a week. On all those days I have to be up by 8:00 am, five days for work, the sixth so I can be at church in time to teach Sunday School. But on my day off, I just sleep myself out. I'm not much of a morning person, so no matter how much sleep I got the night before, I still need my alarm if I have to be up before noon!

Waking Up

I'm surprised the poll didn't have a choice for "Yes, but only on workdays", or to somehow include those special occasions like catching a plane or that special fishing trip.

Therefore, my vote was "sometimes" even though I regularly use it during the week.
