picking up coins

It depends on where I find the coin, if I
can pick it up safely, I will pick it up.

Coins

I always pick up coins and they go into my mite box, also. I also love to find change in the washing machine and that goes in the mite box, as well. When my boys were still at home, they almost always left change in their pockets because mom got so excited about finding dimes and quarters.

Coins

I pick up coins almost anytime I can, unless I'm in a hurry. A few times, per week, I read the years of the coins, in case I can sell them. About a year ago, I found that I have a 1909 penny, and I don't know how I got it.

Pennies in the road...

I find pennies all over the place when I'm walking. I pick them all up, because even though a penny isn't worth much alone, they add up after a while!
Back when I was a part-time fast-food jockey, those found pennies often bought me cheap loaves of bread, cartons of medium eggs, and that boxed mac and cheese that had this orange powder that you weren't sure was really cheese...

Coin

I use such a find as a reminder that as this was a gift so should I give a gift. I make a point of giving an extra Benevolence offering.
