i am actually "other"...i was picked for a jury, we were sent back to the room a couple of days & they settled out of court.

 Jury duty

Many states take the names from the voter's registration roles; however, in Florida they also started taking them from driver's license records. If your state uses voter's registration and you don't vote regularly, I imagine your chances of getting called are not as great.

 Jury duty

Thru the years I had been called many times but never was seated. However,last summer I was called to jury duty and seated on a murder charge. It was quite an experience!

 How chosen?

I have always wondered how they choose who they do for jury duty. I know people who have been selected multiple times and others who have never been selected.
