i usually watch them, not intently, but there are some commercials which i absolutely LOVE and can't pass up when they're on! i almost get as much enjoyment from the ads as i do the shows - pardon me while i go geek out somewhere....LOL

I use a dual-deck VHS VCR. Almost every time that I watch a show, I record it and watch the tapes later, so that I can fast-forward through the ads. I usually watch a one-hour show in 45 minutes. Everyone should do this, unless they like watching commercials.
