Q: What features are offered in Recipes?

A: Here you can view a variety of recipes for meals or snacks and submit your favorite recipe. Recipes contain taste and preparation ratings, and can be sorted by categories for easy viewing.

Q: How do I search for a recipe?

A: Searching for a recipe is simple.

1. Go to the Recipes home page.
2. Scroll down to where you can search by category, main ingredient, keyword and/or cook time.
3. Enter your search criteria, then click "Search Recipes."
4. Click on the name of the recipe you are interested in. Note that a taste and preparation rating are displayed for each recipe.
5. The recipe will now display.

Q: How do I add a recipe?

A: Add a recipe by following these steps:

1. Go to the Recipes home page.
2. Click the "Submit a Recipe" tab near the top of the screen.
3. Enter the appropriate information, including title, category, ingredients and directions.
4. Select a main ingredient near the bottom of the page. This will be used when others search for your recipe.
5. Click "Submit Recipe."
6. Review the recipe, then click "Submit Recipe" to finish the recipe or "Modify Recipe" if you wish to make any last changes before going live.
7. Click "Back to main" to return to the Recipe home page.

Q: Can I edit or delete my recipe?

A: To edit or delete your recipe, you will need to call the Lutherans Online help desk and ask to have it updated or removed. You can contact us by calling toll-free 866-201-1522, filling out our technical support form, or posting your request on our Webmaster message board.

Q: How do I rate a recipe?

A: Rate a recipe by following these steps:

1. Go to the Recipes home page
2. Search for a particular recipe using the Search form.
3. Use the pulldown menus below the recipe to rate how the recipe tastes and the level of difficulty in preparing the food.
4. Click "Rate This Recipe" to submit your rating.
5. Click "New Search" to return to the Recipe home page.
