33rd Biennial LWML Convention |

|
The Lutheran Women in Mission of the Northwest: Oregon, Washington-Alaska and Utah-Idaho Districts invite YOU to the LWML Convention in Portland, Oregon June 25-28, 2009. I lift my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV) How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!" Isaiah 52:7 (NIV) For more detailed information go to http://lwml.org/ | |

|
Join your sisters in Christ in prayer each Monday at
noon. God promises to hear your prayers and He promises to answer them. A good
"formula" for prayer is ACTS.
Adoration
Confession
Thanksgiving
Supplication.
May you be blessed as you go to your best Friend in prayer.
What a Friend we have in Jesus!

Instead of ''Googling'' the next time you use a
search engine, go to
http://www.goodsearch.com and
type ''LWML'' and select LWML St. Louis in the ''I'm supporting'' box. Each time
a search is initiated, an estimated 1 cent is given to LWML. This sounds like a
small amount, but multiple searches by many people add up. For example, if 1,000
women searched twice a day, LWML could potentially receive $7,300 a year.
