...to our Chapter Web site! It's great to have you visit! We're approaching our November meeting and we're pleased to advise that we have now approved 75 projects, and 66 are already completed. We have now committed all of our available funds. Please however do start work on your 2009 applications!. We still await initial 2008 applications from several Lutheran Churches in the County for their Care in Congregations budget...time is running out as we all enter our stewardship time.If you need NEW IDEAS for ways to raise funds to help those in need, check out the attachment below labeled ACTIVITIES COOKBOOK, and have fun bringing your congregation together. However I am equally certain that your Church is already involved in Community Outreach/Fund Raising activities; so please make sure you are getting the supplemental support that Thrivent can bring.
So finally if you have a benevolence project in mind, call one of our Morris County officers to discuss the possibility for supplemental funds. We love to support your activities and extend the good that you do!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ONGOING SUPPORT
To all of you who have led activities, worked with your congregations to complete fund raising and hands on activities, and submitted the paper work to the board each time an activity was proposed and completed...we say THANK YOU! Without the leadership in the local congregations, nothing would happen! Your contribution of time and effort are appreciated by the board and most of all, by the many people you help through your activities.
