Message from Pastor

Welcome to Mount Olive Lutheran Church's Web page. On our outside church sign, we have a saying "Sharing Jesus with you..." and I think that is a good statement of our goal and purpose. We want to bring Jesus to you through the ways in which God has promised to come to us: in his Word of Holy Scriptures and in the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

We are a congregation affiliated with the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. We hold to the teachings of the Bible as they are confessed in the historic creeds of the church and by the Lutheran Church's Book of Concord. We worship in the historic liturgical form, which we believe brings Christ and his Word to us in a faithful manner.

Here you will find opportunities to grow in your faith and fellowship with other Christians. You will find ways to help and serve others. We invite you to come and worship with us and be a part of us.

Mt. Olive is located in the City of Duluth on the shore of Lake Superior in northern Minnesota.
