We are currently seeking a lead pastor for a congregation that is eager to grow and serve this island community of 3,500 in the heart of the Tongass National Forest in Southeast Alaska. Seafood harvesting and processing are the towns primary focus. Petersburg has a strong Norwegian heritage and is in a land of great natural beauty.
Our congregation was established 94 years ago and has a weekly average attendance of 150. Our facilities are unique and support a wide range of ministries. Our parsonage is a close by family friendly home.
We offer an opportunity for a dynamic person, strong in faith and love who wishes to become a part of a friendly and vital community.
