These events include the minor-league baseball games, SE DuPage Cruise Event, Mt Prospect Golf Outing and Gurnee Days concessions. We have a coffee house planned for November at Zion Lutheran in Tinley Park. Can you help us publicize the event or solicit donations for the raffle baskets? Urgent Call for Framing & Drywall During the Week! |
|
|
Two of the Habitat affiliates we’re working with have planned Blitz Weeks for this Fall. If you can volunteer as an individual or organize a small group to help, please contact them ASAP to make your reservation. During the week of September 15th, we are looking for volunteers to help frame the first floor of the duplex we’re working on in Carpentersville with Northern Fox Valley Habitat. We had some permit issues that delayed our start, so it’s essential that we jump start construction with a week focused on framing. Immediately following the Youth Blitz Day in October, Habitat Chicago South Suburbs is planning a Drywall Blitz Week for the three houses we’re working on in Riverdale. Again, individuals and small group leaders are needed. Please check the volunteer coordinator contact information below to RSVP for either project.
