Thrivent Builds Trip to Taos, New Mexico - April 22-30, 2007

Thrivent Builds Worldwide--Taos Registration is now closed for the Greater Iowa RFO Thrivent Builds Worldwide Habitat for Humanity service and cultural exchange trip to Taos, New Mexico.

Twelve members will join team leader Brendalyn Shird, Lutheran Community Services Specialist--Thrivent Builds, in helping build one or more Habitat for Humanity homes from April 22-30, 2007. Watch this spot for updates on and photos from our adventure.

Tenative Trip Itinerary

Sunday, April 22
Team members check into the Best Western Inn & Suites on Yale Blvd. in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Free shuttle service is provided from the airport. Meet in lobby at 6:30 p.m. for dinner & team meeting.

Monday, April 23
10 a.m. checkout-gather in lobby for trip drive to Taos, with sightseeing & lunch stop in Santa Fe while en route.
Check into Indian Hills, Inn in Taos. Dinner and orientation with local Habitat affiliate staff.

Tuesday, April 24-Saturday, April, 28
Build each day, activities each evening including at least one evening where we will dine with local Habitat family partners.

Sunday, April 29
Time for worship, Additional tours and cultural activities; return to Albuquerque for night at the Best Western.

Monday, April 30
Team members depart for their homes.
