The Rochester Chapter of Thrivent Financial is inviting its members, families, and friends to watch the Rochester AMERICANS play the Albany River Rats at the Blue Cross Arena. The Chapter will provide a $12 ticket for each $8 donation towards the 2008 Rochester Thrivent Builds House. The game will begin at 6:00 p.m.

This marks the completion of the Chapter's 3rd Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity house. Again this year, we were the first Chapter in the Northeast to have completed its house. The Board thanks all the volunteers for their contribution of time and labor and we also say "thank you" to the individuals and churches that provide financial assitance to help make this dream a reality for Alexandria and her family.

This is where you get all the forms for your Care in Community and Join Hands Day projects.  Complete the necessary form(s) and submit them to the Board before its next monthly meeting.

Our forms have been updated for 2008. We are using these forms to insure the funding request process is simple and consistent for ALL requestors.  If you are looking for funding from the Rochester Chapter for a Care Abounds in Community hands-on service or fund raising activity, please click one of these links to open one of the request forms. Fill out the form, and either mail or email the completed request to the Chapter Leader Contact identified on the form.  The Chapter Leader Contact will present all submitted funding requests to the Chapter Board, which meets monthly to review all requests. The more information you provide about your project, the faster a decision can be made about your request. The activity must not have been already completed and your request must include a description of how you intend to communicate Thrivent's support of the activity.
