How to order and pay for The Lutheran Woman’s
Quarterly
The Lutheran Women’s Quarterly and the Indiana
District Good News
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League of the Lutheran
Church–Missouri Synod publishes The Lutheran Woman’s Quarterly in the
spring, summer, fall and winter. The Quarterly features Bible studies,
national news, and articles written by sisters and brothers in Christ. It
contains timely information, resources, and inspiration. In addition, the
center insert contains the Indiana District Good News providing everyone
with the latest news and happenings in our Indiana District LWML.
The Quarterly
is a tool of the LWML to the women of the
church. For many years the Quarterly
was distributed at no cost to members. As the
costs increased, our Indiana District asked societies for contributions to help
offset these increases and allow more funds to be available for mission grants.
It is the intent of our District to make available a Quarterly to those
who so desire it. At the same time, we must be good stewards of the monies
received through our mite offerings. Recently, contributions received have not
covered the costs for the Quarterlies. Therefore, if you and your society
are able to do so, contributions for the costs of the
Quarterly are
appreciated.
- Orders
for the Quarterly are sent to the District Circulation Manager. (See
how to contact the Circulation Manager listed below.)
- Contributions
for the Quarterly are sent to the District Financial Secretary. (See
how to contact the Financial Secretary listed below.)
Effective with the summer 2007 Quarterly
edition, the subscription rate for the LWML Quarterly, including the
Indiana District Good News insert, will be as follows:
1-9 copies mailed to the same address:
$7.00 per copy
10 or more copies mailed to the same address: $5.50
per copy
Every January each society receives a letter reminding
them it is time to renew their subscription. This is the only time that the
number of subscriptions may be reduced. Increases or new subscriptions can be
made at any time. The annual letter also reports on the contributions each
society has given for the Quarterly.
After sending the subscription renewal to the
Circulation Manager, send contributions to the Financial Secretary anytime after
April 1 of the current year. The Indiana District fiscal year is April 1 through
March 31.
