M and M MINI MISSIONS BEGIN FOR 2004/2005
The youth ministry board is currently looking for mini mission projects that our youth and families can be involved in on their own time. Several of our people told us that they would love to serve God by serving those in need but are unable to travel to a week long mission trip. We’ve come up with the idea of M&M mini missions. If you or a neighbor has a need that we can help you with, please call the church office to be added to the M&M list. We will wash windows, rake lawns, paint, clean house, make visits, deliver groceries, etc. These are servant projects that no one will ask for money from the recipient. It is meant for those who are unable to do work themselves or can’t afford to have it done. We also invite people of all ages to sign up to be a member of the M&M club. You can be families and individuals who just have time and would like to donate it in many ways. Your particular interests and times available will be noted and you will be contacted when projects are requested with which you may be able to help. Although this is being sponsored by the youth ministry committee, it is by no way limited to youth. Your volunteer hours will be recorded and those involved will be able to receive a free M&M Club t-shirt to thank you for your contribution to the kingdom of God.
Committee members needed
The Youth Committee is looking for individuals wishing to help us coordinate Youth events. We are seeking new ideas and persons to join our Committee. Part of the Youth Committee’s Description includes: Developing ways for young people to meet and support each other in a setting that is celebrative, educational, and spiritual nourishing. Providing programs that address concerns of young people, including stressful life situations and behavior that puts them at risk. Provide programs that address the emerging adult identity of young people, including their faith development and equip them in forming goals and acquiring skills for living out their Christian faith in daily life.

Please take the time to seriously consider being part of this committee. See any Youth Committee member for more information or contact Pr. Frey or Lisa Sherburne.
