Chili Cook-off and Bingo Night |
Saturday, January 28th, 2012
5:30 PMBring your award winning chili and enter the chili cook-off or just come and judge them yourself! There are three categories:
1) Mild 2) Hot 3) Fiery. We will be playing Bingo, so don’t forget your “white elephant” for the Bingo prizes. Each person playing Bingo needs to bring a “white elephant” gift. There will be sign-up sheet in the Commons Area for bringing: cheese, chopped onions, corn bread, Fritos, sour cream and dessert. Book Club |
Our January read is Daphne du Maurier’s Rebecca. We’ll be meeting on Monday, January 30th at 6:30pm to discuss this thrilling novel and perhaps watch Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine in the Alfred Hitchcock film adaptation.
