| July Ladies' Social | | Tuesday, July 14, 2009 starting at 5:30p. | | A social for all women of the church will be held on Tuesday evening, July 14th at 5:30 p.m. at the church. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board to bring either a covered dish or a dessert.
A chinese Auction will be held after the meal. Each person wishing to participate is asked to bring a wrapped gift, which can either be something you already have or something purchased for just this purpose. The gift cost should not exceed $15.00
This event is always a great deal of fun and we would love to see you there. Please feel free to come and join us even without bringing something to eat. We are sure there will be plenty. This is great for those ladies who work and can just drop by aftewards. |

Approximaely two months ago a spcial congregational meeting was held to receive input regarding the use of the recently acquired building as a space for a martial arts studio and the use of the educational wing for a drop-in daycare. After some great discussion, the congregation affirmed the proposed uses of these spaces for these purposes.
The plan has continued to develop and the steering committe would like to explain this plan to the congregation and request funds from the memorial gifts.

They have made some very lovely and useful quilts for the needy. If you have any scrap material that you won't be using, perhaps you could donate it to this group for some lovely quilts. Call the church office if you want to donate material. |

| Food Pantry | | From the week of Oct. 3, 2005, Monday of every week starting at 10:00a. | | The Lutheran Church of Our Savior has an outreach program in the Food Pantry. All members of our church are encouraged to participate by donating and/or working for the Pantry. Food bags are packed and given out on Monday mornings at 10 AM. Please feel free to bring donations of canned good to the church in the morning during the week or on Sunday morning. |
