| Flu Shots | | Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011 from 9:00a until 12:00p. | | The Parish Nurse Ministry is offering seasonal flu shots on Sunday October 16, 2011. The cost is $30, but is covered by most Medicare and commercial insurance plans -- ask whether yours is among them when you call to register.
Make an appoinment by calling the Parish Nurse Office at 314-837-1090 Ext. 107 between 10:00 a.m. and noon on Mondays or 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Thursdays.

| Lenten Health Activity: Tai Chi | | From the week of Feb. 24, 2010 through the week of March 24, 2010, Wednesday of every week from 6:30p until 7:15p. | | This year's Lenten Health Series will consist of Tai Chi (Sun style) instruction by the Parish Nurses. Tai Chi may improve mobility, breathing and relaxation. These movements DO NOT require deep bending or squatting and can be done in a chair if necessary. We will learn six basic steps, plus a warm up and a cool down. We will meet Wednesdays after the Lenten dinner in the Multi-purpose Room (Room 115) from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m., Feb. 24 to Mar. 24. |

| Back to School Health Fair | | Friday, July 23, 2004 from 12:00p until 3:00p. | | This is a hands-on opportunity for children and their families to acquire health tips and have fun doing so. Some of the activities provided include black light check of handwashing effectiveness, helmet safety and blood pressure checks, use of a fire extinguisher, healthy snacks, finger printing and exercise and physical coordination activities. In addition, information on asthma and home swimming pool safety will be available.
