Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011 from 8:30a until 9:45a.

Breakfast/Bible Study. Will be held in the private dinning room on the 2nd floor at Laurel Oaks. Bring cold or hot Breakfast items. We do not have the ablity to keep things piping hot, so make sure what you bring will not spoil if a certain temperature is not maintained. See you there. The Bible study is always great, and so is the food. We have some great cooks in the congregation.

Game Night

From Oct. 5, 2011 through Oct. 19, 2011, the 1st, 3rd Wednesday of every month from 6:30p until 7:30p.

Game night will be held every other week on Wednesday evening. This event is to enjoy an evening of simple games, with the residents of Laurel Oaks. If you are not sure of the dates, please contact Pastor Eppley or Nancy Wenzler who will help coordinate with the Life Style People at Laurel Oaks. We meet in the Balcony on the second floor. The front desk can help you if you need directions. Members of Lincoln Park, & residents of Laurel Oaks are welcome. It is a fun night for all!!!

Service w/Communion @ Laurel Oaks Chapel

This is a informal monthly service w/communion for people at Laurel Oaks who may have trouble making it to a Sunday Service. It is open to anyone wishing to attend.

Council Retreat

Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011 from 12:00p until 4:00p.

Retreat will be held Noon to 4PM. This event will be held at Parkside Commons, Senior Housing complex. It is located at 1400 W. Custer Ave. We will be in the Community Room on the 1st floor. The council will also be joined by our visioning taskforce, to take a closer look at our future.

LOAFERS

Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011 from 11:30a until 2:30p.

LOAFERS is a group of Active Older Adults who met 11:30 AM for Lunch and folloe with Card games the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays every month. At present we pay $3.00 for Lunch (Sandwich, chips, pickles,& dessert). The card games, we play are Sheepshead, Gotcha, Polish Poker, & Cribbage. Other card games can be played if we have enough people who know the game. If you are attending for the first time, please let Lorraine W. know so she can make sure we have enough sandwiches ordered. If you are a regular and will be missing one week you should also let Lorraine W. know so she can also adjust the sandwich order as needed. We meet in the private dinning room at Laurel Oaks, ask at the front reception desk if you need directions to the dinning room.

Pastor's Class

From Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 through Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 every 7 days from 7:00p until 8:00p.

Pastor's Class is a continuation of his fall 2010 class. He will be discussing questions, in the New & and Old Testemant. We will discuss what the question was showing people at the the time, and what the question shows us in this day and age. It is a class that will allow you to drop in for one session or multipule sessions. You will learn and enjoy whichever way you utilized this wonderful opportunity to learn. Everyone is welcome!!!

Chimes Choir Practice

Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 from 6:00p until 7:00p.

Chimes choir will be practicing every other week in the Board Room at the Church Office.

Worship with Communion

From the week of Sept. 25, 2011, Sunday of every week from 10:00a until 11:30a.

Worship is at 10AM with Communion. All are welcome. Communion is open to all baptized, who come repenting and beleiving.
