| Holiday Dinner | | Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008 from 12:30p until 3:00p. | | You and your family are cordially invited to attend a time of great food and fellowship. The Board of Fellowship, in conjunction with Fresh Start for Pasco, is hosting a "Holiday Dinner" on November 30, 2008. This dinner has been a staple in Pasco county for several years and strives to serve our brethren who find themselves alone during the holidays, disabled, homeless, or simply have hit hard times and can't afford to make a holiday dinner for their family. This function also serves as a time of fellowship and goodwill amongst those who would just like to spend their Thanksgiving in a more historically traditional or different way.
The dinner will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church in New Port Richey on November 30, 2008. It will begin at 1:00 p.m. and runs until 3:00 p.m.
Please respond by November 20, 2008 an accurate count is very important, seating is limited to the first 200 people.
Yours in Christ,
Jan Martini
Director of the Board of Fellowship and
Chairperson for Fresh Start for Pasco Inc.

| "Revive Us Again" Concert | | Friday, Oct. 10, 2008 starting at 7:00p. | | “Justin is an incredible singer arranger and performer with a wide variety of music to share with your church. But he also has a tremendous heart for sharing his own story. His story is a story that will touch the youth of your church and can help young adults at risk who really need to hear the message of God. Thank you for considering welcoming him to your church and I know you will be glad you did!”
Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson, Moderator of UFMCC
Justin Ryan born in Paducah, KY at age 8 sang in public for the first time. Justin has shared the stage with many contemporary greats and is an accomplished Background Vocalist. Having sung on cuts with such artists as Porter Wagoner, Dottie Rambo, Christie Lynn, and Mel Tillis!
For Justin it has been a journey of raw faith, trusting in God, and leading others to Christ. Being able to minister through his experiences of heartache and joy, he has given others the hope that they, too, can make it, not just in music, but in life. The biggest blessing in his life is that he knew when to “Surrender” to Christ.

| Benefit Concert | | Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008 from 7:00p until 10:30p. | | Fresh Start for Pasco is sponsoring a benefit concert. We have invited 4 bands to join us in raising money to benefit 26 families at risk of being put out on the street. This is 60 adults with 20 children.
What does that mean? That means there is no tickets to buy in advance, it’s all about love; Love for thy neighbor, because that is what our Father has taught us to do. We desperately need to raise $3000.00 with this concert. If we can do that, then Thrivent Financial has stated that they will give an additional $1600.00 to help these families. Please show your Father you do care and help these families with your LOVE OFFERING
The bands that are playing will be Dispite Distance, Canaan, Eminence and Cross Thread

| Disaster Training | | Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 8:30a until 3:30p. | | • Chainsaw Ministry
• Chainsaw maintenance
• Tarp and Patch Team
• Muck-out and Flood
• Debris Removal
• Emotional & Spiritual Care Ministry
“Early Response” teams mean members of the congregation who would like to help with this ministry—including disaster chainsaw, tarp & patch, and muck-out—would be required to attend all trainings to be certified. Volunteers need to have their own medical insurance. Volunteers should be available to work on weekends, and/or 2-3 days during the week, or even (if available) a week at a time.
Imagine our outreach! People inside (and outside) our community will see an Early Response trailer with our name and city on it with a crew of all church volunteers out helping others immediately after a hurricane or other disaster.
Church priorities for an Early Response Team in the advent of a storm:
If you are hit, the Team Leader will contact (if possible) the LER Team Coordinators and tell them of your situation:
1. Clean up your own church and properties, addressing immediate needs of the congregation.
2. Help with clean up for congregational members.
3. Help with clean up of your immediate community.
4. Keep other ER Team Coordinators informed. As you get caught up, we can then point you to other needs
If you are interested in becoming part of such a team and are of reasonable health and can be available on weekends or during the week, please let me know.
If there is an interest in this, a training meeting will be held at Faith Lutheran Church July 26th. 2008 from 8:30am until 3:30pm.
