| Diaper Drive | | Members and friends of Word of Life Lutheran will be collecting donations of diapers and other baby care items. All donations will be distributed through Messiah Migrant Ministries to the families of Migrant Workers in eastern Hillsborough County..A similar drive was held two years ago with over 140 packages of diapers and other donations of baby care items being received.
Karen Nester, Word of Life Diaper Drive coordinator, states, “We know that we stand a good chance of surpassing the donations of two years ago, because of a generous grant from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. It will be a rewarding and fun experience for all those who are involved.”
The Diaper Drive on October 18 is only the first part of the event. Members and friends of Word of Life Lutheran will also help distribute the diapers and baby supplies to the migrant worker families on Saturday morning, November 15, in Plant City.
