| Synod means "Walking Together." Our congregation is part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, because we hold to the same precious truths of the God's Word. That has bonded us in the most intimate of fellowships. We share with other Lutheran churches the common effort of encouraging and training young men and women to teach God's saving message in its truth and purity. | Ministerial Education | 
| As mentioned above, our WELS congregations "walk together" in order to provide pastors, teachers, and missionaries, who are well-grounded in the Scriptures. To give our pastors a thorough training in the Bible and the teachings of God, our synod supports a strong set of schools. On the high school level we have Preparatory Schools, which prepare our youth for continuing their training at Martin Luther College, where they can take either the pastor or teacher track. Men who wish to be pastors, continue their education at the Seminary level.
