As you look around our church, you will see that children are part of our worshipping community. We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is good news for ALL ages. In fact, there is much we can learn from children. Children can be loyal, amazingly honest, spontaneous, eager, and completely involved. We see in them how childlike characteristics can be put into acton. They show us our need to continue the journey of faith.
ABCs for Parents and Friends of Children
Arrive early and sit up front so that children can see everything taking place.
Be sure to pick up a worship activity bag for your child to use during worship.
Clue your child about what will happen next in worship. Let them find the hymns.
Discuss worship at home and take time to answer their questions.
Express your gladness at having children in worship. Be sure to welcome any children.
Free yourself from worry about children's behavior. Open yourself to receiving their ministry.
