Our friends are like angels,
Who brighten our days.
In all kinds of wonderful,
Magical ways.
Their thoughtfulness comes,
As a gift from above.
And we feel we're surrounded,
By warm, caring love.
Like upside-down rainbows,
Their smiles bring the sun.
And they fill ho-hum moments,
With laughter and fun.
Friends are like angels,
Without any wings.
Blessing our lives,
With the most precious things!

So often you're there when I am lonely,
You always sound glad when I call,

My Prayer For You |
|
I thought of you so much today
I went to God in prayer.
To ask Him to watch over you
and show you that I care.
My prayer for you was not for rewards
ones that you can touch or feel.
But true rewards for happiness
that are so very real.
Like love and understanding
in all the things you do.
For guidance when you need it most
to see your troubles through.
I asked Him for good health for you
so your future could be bright.
And faith to accept lifes challenges
with courage to do what's right.
I gave thanks to Him for granting my prayer
to bring you peace and love.
May you feel the warmth in your life
with Gods blessings from above.

I said a prayer for you today
For you and those you love
I prayed you'd feel Gods presence
Feel His guidance from aboveI asked Him to keep you safe and warm

Someone Cares |
Someone cares and always will,
The World forgets but God loves you still,

Daily Prayers Dissolve Your Cares |
I meet God in the morning
And go with Him through the day,
Then in the stillness of the night
Before sleep comes I pray
That God will just "take over"
All the problems I couldn't solve,
So when I open my eyes
To greet another day
I'll find myself renewed in strength
And there'll open up a way
To meet what seemed impossible
For me to solve alone
And once again I'll be assured
I am never "on my own"...
For if we try to stand alone
We are weak and we will fall,
For God is always Greatest
When we're helpless, lost and small,
And no day is unmeetable
If on rising our first thought
Is to thank God for the blessings
That His loving care has brought...
For therecan be no failures
Or hopeless, unsaved sinners
If we enlist the help of God
Who makes all losers winners...
So meet him in the morning
And go with Him through the day
And thank Him for his guidence
Each evening when you pray,
And if you follow faithfully
This daily way to pray,
You will never in your lifetime

Slow Dance |
Have you ever watched kidsOn a merry-go-round? Or listened to the rain Slapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight? Or gazed at the sun into the fading night? You better slow down. Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last. Do you run through each day On the fly? When you ask How are you? Do you hear the reply? When the day is done Do you lie in your bed With the next hundred chores Running through your head? You'd better slow down Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last. Ever told your child, We'll do it tomorrow? And in your haste, Not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch, Let a good friendship die Cause you never had time To call and say,"hi" You'd better slow down. Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last. When you run so fast to get somewhere You miss half the fun of getting there. When you worry and hurry through your day, It is like an unopened gift.... Thrown away. Life is not a race. Do take it slower Hear the music Before the song is over.

Around The Corner |
Around the corner I have a friend,
In this great city that has no end,
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
And before I know it, a year is gone.
And I never see my old friends face,
For life is a swift and terrible race,
He knows I like him just as well,
As in the days when I rang his bell.
And he rang mine if, we were younger then,
And now we are busy, tired men.
Tired of playing a foolish game,
Tired of trying to make a name.
"Tomorrow" I say! "I will call on Jim"
"Just to show that I'm thinking of him."
But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,
And distance between us grows and grows.
Around the corner, yet miles away,
"Here's a telegram sir" "Jim died today."
And that's what we get and deserve in the end.
Around the corner, a vanished friend.Remember to always say what you mean. If you love someone, tell them.Don't be afraid to express yourself. Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you. Because when you decide that it is the right time it might be too late.Seize the day. Never have regrets. And most importantly, stay close to your friends and family,for they have helped make you the person that you are today.
