Exception: during Lent or Easter The LIGHTS group moves to 5 pm Wednesday and is followed by the congregational Soup Supper and Communion Service. What makes a thriving Christian congregation? From God’s side: his deep grace through Jesus Christ. From our side with God’s help: commitment to God’s Word; commitment to prayer; commitment to deep, mutual relationships; and commitment to generous ministry. These are also the key components to intentional small group ministry. Just what is an intentional Small Group? Essentially a Small Group is a regularly scheduled gathering of about eight to twelve people whose chief purpose is to experience Christian community through prayer, Biblical reflection, mutual support and a group ministry task. | |

Our Quilters |
Quilts for Lutheran World ReliefEach spring the pews are covered with a few of the beautiful colorful quilts that have been made by our quilters through the year. From 50 to 100 quilts are boxed and sent off to Lutheran World Relief or local camps or homeless programs. Our dedicated quilters (Amy Helm, Lilly Mitchell, Elaine Linders, Judy Robertson, Shonnie Oches, and Roberta Schroeder) meet at 10:00am on Mondays. If you would like to join them, or help in some way, please contact Amy Helm (509) 276-5834. New quilters are always welcome. ************** Do you have any new or gently-used flat twin sheets that you would be willing to donate to the quilters? If so, please bring them into the church office. They are used for the quilt backings and are always in need. New ones can be purchased inexpensively at Walmart, and donated to help the quilters.
