What if every time someone said a phrase or a word you would be able to connect something from the Bible to that Word or Phrase?
What an opportunity this would be for us to reach out to others with some account from the Bible.
What if someone used a mathematical number, is there something from the Bible that we can connect to that number that we could use as an introduction to tell that person or group of people about Jesus, the Savior of the World?
With this Bible study we will look at different Numbers as found in the Bible and how they are used.

Genesis 6:10 – The THREE Sons of Noah? Which son went in which direction?

Genesis 18:1-5 – The THREE Visitors who came to Abraham.

Numbers 22:28 – Balaam beat his donkey THREE times. Imagine being a bye-stander. What is more humorous? A. A donkey speaking or a man speaking to the talking donkey. Read the entire account from Numbers 22:21-35.

Deuteronomy 16:16-17 – THREE times a year ALL the men of Israel must appear before the Lord. Would it be too much to ask every man in the congregation to appear before the Lord at least 3 times in one year?

I Kings 7:23-26 – King Solomon made a Basin call a “Sea” with THREE Bulls as the legs, facing in each direction for a total of 12 bulls. The Basin was used to by the priests for ritual washings.

I Kings 17:21-22 – Elijah stretched himself out over the dead son of the widow of Zarephath THREE times and the Lord brought the boy back to life.

Daniel 3:19-23 – THREE men thrown into the Fiery furnace. Their Jewish names can be found in Dan. 1:6

Jonah 1:17 – Jonah was in the belly of the fish THREE days. (See also Matthew 12:39-40; the sign of Jonah.)

Matthew 28:19-20 – The Trinity – THREE Persons in One God.

John 2:19-21 – The Lord Jesus prophesied that He would be in the grave THREE days.

Acts 9:9 – Saul was blind for THREE days after Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus.

I Corinthians 13:13 – And now the THREE Remain.

I John 5:6-9 – The THREE testify together. Water – Blood Spirit.
Do not try to separate them. The Spirit comes to us in the Water of Baptism. The Holy Spirit works through the Blood of Christ as we receive it in the Lord’s Supper.

Revelation 21:9 - 13 – The Holy City had THREE gates on each of the four sides.
