The Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS) is an organization for the women of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). It was organized in Winona, Minnesota, on June 27, 1964. A number of WELS congregations in an area form a circuit, have their own elected officers and hold semi-annual mission rallies. The Alpha Circuit (St. John's is a member)

Our congregation LWMS supports especially the Indian mission of our Synod, and also the Martin Luther Memorial Home.
