Summer 2009 Bible Study
The Number Various Numbers from Revelation and other parts of the Bible.
What if every time someone said a phrase or a word you would be able to connect something from the Bible to that Word or Phrase?
What an opportunity this would be for us to reach out to others with some account from the Bible.
What if someone used a mathematical number, is there something from the Bible that we can connect to that number that we could use as an introduction to tell that person or group of people about Jesus, the Savior of the World?
With this Bible study we will look at different Numbers as found in the Bible and how they are used. Genesis 13:14-16 Abrahams offspring (biological & believers) will be as numerous as the dust of the earth.
Leviticus 23:16 The O.T Pentecost day. 7 weeks plus one day.
Leviticus 25:8 - 13 The year of Jubilee Every 50 years.
Judges 7:5-8 Gideon and 300 men.
I Kings 11:1-6 How many wives and concubines did Solomon have?
I Chronicles 11:11 One of Davids mighty men killed 300 in one encounter.
Ezra 2:1-2; 64-67 The number of Exiles who returned from Babylon to Jerusalem.
Psalms 90:10-12 The Length of our days is 70-80 years if the Lord gives us the strength. Number our days.
Ezekiel 4:5 Ezekiel is to lie on his side for 390 days and then 40 days.
John 6:10-11 Jesus fed 5,000.
Acts 4:1-4 5,000 believed after Peter and John proclaimed the Word of the Lord.
Romans 9:27-29 Though the Number of Israel be like the sand, only a remnant will be saved.
Revelation 4:1-11 (Show Picture) TWENTY FOUR elders surrounded the throne.
12 + 12 = 24 Symbolic of all Old & New Testament Believers in heaven.
Revelation 5:11 10,000 x 10,000 angels.
Revelation 7:4 Those who were sealed.
144,000 = 12 x 12 x 10 x 10 x 10; The Old and N.T. Believers + Trinity in heaven forever.
Revelation 7:9 The Great Multitude. The believers in heaven.

Revelation 9:16 200,000,000 (False teachings) are killed by the four angels who were bound for this very hour.
Revelation 12:6 1260 Days. A number symbolic of the N.T. Era. (See Also Rev. 11:1-3 same picture)
Revelation 14:1-3 We again see the 144,000 praising the Lord in heaven.
Revelation 14:17-20 The grapes of Gods Wrath. The blood flowed for 1,600 stadia. 4 x 4 x 10 x 10
Gods complete and perfect judgment reaches all Four corners of the earth.
Revelation 21:15-17 The Holy City The New Jerusalem. 12,000 stadia, 144 cubic thick walls.
3 x 4 x 10 x 10 The Trinity and all believers from all four corners of the earth and the city is complete and perfect. The walls = another picture of the Old and New T. Believers. 12 x 12 = 144
