The Number SEVEN
What if every time someone said a phrase or a word you would be able to connect something from the Bible to that Word or Phrase?
What an opportunity this would be for us to reach out to others with some account from the Bible.
What if someone used a mathematical number, is there something from the Bible that we can connect to that number that we could use as an introduction to tell that person or group of people about Jesus, the Savior of the World?
With this Bible study we will look at different Numbers as found in the Bible and how they are used. Genesis 2:2-3 God Made the SEVENTH day Holy. Sabbath = Rest
Genesis 41:25-32 SEVEN years of plenty and SEVEN years of famine.
Job 42:12-13 The Lord blessed Job with SEVEN Sons.
Psalm 119:164 Praise the Lord SEVEN times a day.
Isaiah 4:1 SEVEN women would take hold of one man due to war and famine there would be few men.
Jeremiah 34:14 16 - Every SEVEN years Israel was to free fellow Hebrew slaves.
Zechariah 4:1-6 The SEVEN channels to the lights. The Spirit of the Lord (vs. 6) Gods Seven fold Spirit. (See Isaiah 11:2)
Matthew 18:21-22 Forgive, not SEVEN times but 70 x 7. Forgive!!!
Mark 16:9 Mary Magdalene who had SEVEN demons driven out of her.
Luke 20:27-39 The woman who had SEVEN husbands.
Acts 6:3-6 -The SEVEN Men full of the Spirit.
Acts 13:16-20a The Lord God overthrew SEVEN nations for His people Israel. (Deut. 7:1)
Hebrews 11:30 The walls of Jericho fell after marching around them SEVEN days. (Joshua 6:4-15)
Revelation 1:4 The SEVEN Spirits of God. The SEVEN fold attributes of the Holy Spirit. (See Isaiah 11:2)
